What kind of products do you sell online?
DAMA sells pure cotton handloom sarees, dupattas, stoles, fabrics and pre-shrunk readymade garments.
Pre-shrunk readymade handloom garments include long & short kurtas, dresses, salwars, pants & kurtis / tops for women and long & short kurtas, shirts, pyjamas and churidhars for men and these are sold under the brand name ‘dãram’.
Are all products handmade?
Yes, we are proud to say that all our products are 100 percent hand woven by weavers of co-operative societies across Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
What are the advantages of handloom cotton?
The handloom experience (soft, comfortable and durable) is due to the human handling of the yarn in the weaving process. As a result, yarn and the fabric are much less stressed and damaged. Hand woven cotton is known for its breathability as compared to mill made cotton. This implies it allows more air penetration making it cooler, softer and more absorbent. It keeps you cooler in summers and warm in winters.
Will the garment shrink?
Readymade garments: The readymade garments are pre-shrunk, so you need not worry about shrinkage.
Yardage, Dupattas, Stoles & Sarees: Yardage, Dupattas, Stoles and Sarees are “off the loom” products hence you will see 7 to 10% shrinkage per meter.
Do I need to starch cotton clothes?
Handloom cotton clothes, sarees and dupattas could be worn with or without starch. Starching might take away the natural properties of cotton and make them less breathable. We do understand that starching cotton sarees and shirts is a common practice. There is no need to starch thicker cottons but finer cottons may require mild starching. This will retain the stiffness needed for the clothes to look fresh till evening.
Will the colour fade?
Our handloom cottons tend to fade if exposed to harsh washing conditions. Please refer to the Wash Care section for the right methods to ensure that your handlooms last longer.
How do I place an order?
Shop has 4 categories – Yardage, Sarees, Accessories (Dupattas & Stoles) and Garments. Size charts are given for each style of the readymade garments. You can mix and match between the product categories. Once you have shortlisted the product you wish to buy, select the size & colour, click on ‘Buy Now’ and then Place Order. Follow instructions to complete your order.
Do I have to sign up for an account to buy something?
No, signing up for an account is an option, you can check out / buy as a guest.
How will I know that the order has been placed?
You will receive an e-mail with an order confirmation.
How do I track my order?
You will receive another e-mail with tracking ID of your order.
Can I place bulk orders?

We accept all domestic and international digital payments through Razorpay. Includes all major debit and credit cards, 50+ Netbanking Options and Mobile Wallets.
Are there any charges / hidden charges when I make a payment?
There are NO hidden charges when you make a purchase on our online shop. The prices listed for all the items are final and all-inclusive.
Your total checkout amount includes product cost and shipping charges which are inclusive of GST. There are no other hidden charges.
Shipping and Delivery
How long will it take to receive an order?
We do our best to dispatch every order within two working days of receiving the payment. As soon as your order is dispatched, you will receive an e-mail with tracking information. Within India, it will take approximately 3-5 working days to reach you. Outside India, it will take anywhere between 8 to 14 working days depending on your location.
How is my order shipped?
All domestic orders are shipped through courier from our stock room in Hyderabad, Telangana via our partner courier DTDC within 2-3 days from receiving the order. International orders are dispatched by speed post (India Post) within 2-3 days from receiving the order.
Can I ship different items in my order to different addresses?
No, we cannot send parts of an order to different addresses. In case you would like items from your order to reach different addresses, you will have to treat them as separate orders. Please place individual orders for each address.
How do you pack my shipment?
All the items are packed with utmost care using environment friendly recyclable materials.
Are there any shipping charges?
Yes. Shipping charges will apply depending on the distance and weight of your package and will reflect in your cart.
Can I change shipping address after placing my order?
No, we regret that we do not have the provision of changing the shipping address once the order is placed.
Exchange and Returns

We offer an exchange for alternative product / products of your choice for the same value or we adjust the difference. Please refer to the Exchange & Returns policy for more details.
How do I get a defective order replaced?
Any replacement for a defective order will be treated as a return. You can either exchange or get a full refund within 7 days after we receive the item.
My package / product is damaged in transit. What do I do?
If you find that the package or product is damaged in transit, please return the package to us immediately. E-mail us at email@example.com regarding the same and we will arrange for a new package to be sent to you within the next 7 working days.
How quickly will I get a refund?
You will be refunded within 7 working days after we have received the return package at our office.
